Our Grant Recipients
Grant Overview
The Fencing Forward Community Grant Program was established in 2023 to help further clubs’ efforts to support community organizations, charitable programs, and to promote youth fencing as a developmental tool in underserved communities. We want you to let us know which fencing club or sports organization should be recognize. Those who go beyond just teaching the sport, those who reach out to help make the youths and the communities better. Selected clubs or organizations must demonstrate a high commitment to their communities, through their leadership and their youth programs. Depending on the number of nominations, up to three clubs may be awarded, and awards may be up to $1,500.
All Nominations Must:
- Be in good standing as of the application deadline date. This includes all financial, reporting and IRS tax requirements.
- Beneficiary organization/program must have a valid and active 501(c)(3) or equivalent federal tax status.
- Nominations are due by August 1. Nominations are accepted online only. Information required to complete the nomination includes club contact information and why they should be chosen. Beneficiary organization/program must have a valid and active 501(c)(3) or equivalent federal tax status.
- Clubs in good standing are eligible to be nominated for one (1) grant each fiscal year.program must have a valid and active 501(c)(3) or equivalent federal tax status.
Important Dates
- Nominations opens after USA Fencing Summer Nationals, and closes end of day Sunday September 12, 2025 at midnight.
