Fencing has shaped a huge part of my life, and I want to give others the opportunity to experience the sport. Growing up in Puerto Rico, I didn’t have many resources to pursue my passion for fencing, but I was fortunate enough to move to Houston in 2022 to train at Alliance Fencing Academy. This allowed me to grow as an athlete and represent Puerto Rico as part of the Cadet and Junior epee teams. However, not many people have this privilege, which is why I want to help make fencing more accessible and give others the chance to learn the sport, regardless of their background.
