We are thrilled to announce that the drawing for our Dining Forward Raffle has officially taken place!
Thanks to your incredible support, we raised over $1,600! Every single dollar goes directly toward our mission of equipping the young athletes at the DFK fencing club in Magdalena del Mar, Peru. From gloves to masks and blades, your contributions are providing these fencers with the essential tools they need to compete safely, build discipline, and pursue their passion.
This entire initiative was spearheaded by Balthazar Rosado, a competitive fencer at Windy City and a core member of the Fencing Forward team. After visiting Lima and seeing firsthand the incredible dedication—and severe lack of basic gear—at the DFK club, Balthazar stepped up to turn his vision of global giving into a reality. We want to give a massive thank you to Balthazar for his leadership, coordination, and passion in driving this project forward. Every kid deserves a shot at the piste, and his efforts have brought us so much closer to making that happen.
