Join Fencing Forward - Giving Back Through Fencing

Are you a motivated student fencer (Grades 9–12) ready to make a difference? Fencing Forward offers a unique platform to develop executive leadership skills while serving your community. We are more than a non-profit; we are a fully incorporated 501(c)(3) organization where students lead the way. By joining our team, you gain hands-on corporate experience—from finance and marketing to web development and coding—while turning your passion for the sport into a powerful tool for social change.

Find Your Department

We operate like a modern 501(c)(3) corporation. Members take ownership of specific departments based on their career interests:

Finance & Operations: Manage budgets, track fundraising goals, and learn the fiscal side of a non-profit.
Marketing & Social Media: Build our brand, design digital content, and manage our public voice.
Web Development & Tech: Maintain our digital presence and build the tools that streamline our initiatives.
Strategic Outreach: Network with community partners and coordinate large-scale events like the Fence-A-Thon.

Our Core Initiatives

Fence-A-Thon: Our premier high-energy fundraising event.
Gear Up for Summer: A seasonal drive to ensure every fencer has the equipment they need.
Community Outreach & Clinics: Direct grassroots engagement, bringing the sport to new audiences through camps and clinics.
Scholarships & Grants: Managing the merit-based En Guarde program and community grant distribution.
The Mentorship Circle: Connecting experienced fencers with those just beginning their journey.

As a member of the Leadership Team, you will:

Advocate: Learn about and address social, behavioral, and economic insecurities.
Lead: Coordinate fundraisers, gear drives, and the annual Fence-A-Thon.
Network: Connect with like-minded peers and community mentors.
Grow: Earn certified service hours while developing agency and long-term social responsibility.
