Some organizations lose sight of their objective when they grow. At Fencing Forward, we want to make sure we don’t digress from our core mission:

“Using fencing as a developmental tool to help kids in underserved communities who would normally not get a chance to benefit from this sport.”

With this in mind, we assessed all of our initiatives and we saw that there are so many great volunteer organizations in fencing. We feel that our volunteer service would only overlap with their mission. To stay the course on our mission goals, we have partnered with Fencers DoGood to connect fencers with meaningful opportunities to give back to the communities hosting the USA Fencing National competitions and beyond.
